Overview :
Androgenetic alopecia is one of the most common reasons people go for a hair transplant in Pune. It is a genetic condition that affects both men and women.
Men with this condition, also known as male pattern baldness, can begin suffering from hair loss in their teens or early 20s. It is characterized by a receding hairline and gradual disappearance of hair from the frontal scalp and the crown.
Over time, the hairline recedes to create a characteristic “M” shape. Androgenetic alopecia is not curable; however certain medications and hair transplant surgery can improve the condition.
